G&G Foundation had started its journey in 2004 as an Educational Society with a mission to provide vocational & Industrial Training to youth of India, which has now expanded its wings to undertake several other activities related to livelihood upgradation and social welfare. In 2006, our first institute was established in the form of an Industrial Training Institute in a rural area of Haryana, wherein we introduced an array of healthcare trades – Dental, Health & Sanitation, Radiology & Physiotherapy. After that, G&G implemented various social projects in different states like Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Uttarakhand etc.

“G&G has worked very intensively in Kashmir ever since 2008, and especially during 2009-2011, when militancy was on rise and the valley was disturbed. G&G was amongst the chosen few who implemented the Prime Minister’s Office’s special scheme of Skill Development of Youth of Jammu & Kashmir, whose objective was to divert the Kashmiri Youth’s attention to mainstream by relocating them to outside the state.”

In 2011, G&G formed its corporate wing by the name of G&G Skills Developers Pvt. Ltd, with the objective to serve the country by providing skill training to needful beneficiaries and making them job ready. Over the past few years, G&G group has expanded PAN India and has executed several projects in various domains like

• Capacity building
• Skill development
• Supply of toolkits &healthcare commodities
• Awareness camps
• Ration distribution
• Local production promotion etc

and has worked towards facilitating prosperous livelihood for thousands of needful beneficiaries by assisting them in their chosen field. In 2020, G&G rechristened its name from an Education Society to ‘Foundation’ to more appropriately depict the nature of activities that it envisions for the future.
